Women are not only the ones who are most affected by lack of energy but they are also the ones who are most suitable for conservation of energy. Realizing the importance of this engagement of women with energy WELDO is currently carrying out programs at international level that include capacity building of women in energy conservation at home, at the office and in their businesses. WELDO is also carrying out projects to provide energy sources to women in the form of solar geezers, energy efficient lighting at home and initiating projects that will aim at introduction of small biogas plants that can fulfill energy needs for a small household. At international level WELDO is currently working on WIN in Germany, Spain and Italy.
